It's not a tariff. It's the trade gap. ustr.gov/countries-re... The US exports 88% less stuff to Sri Lanka than it imports. That's all there is to see here.
(1 of 2) Two objections here: for heaven's sakes, order your data. You have three columns, so order alphabetically or go by number. (Although I guess chaos is the point.)
And also, and probably more importantly, these figures that they say the US is being charged are completely made up.
Want an example of just how batshit these new tariffs are?
Apparently the Falkland Islands got hit with 41%. They have three thousand inhabitants and exported $306 million of products in 2019. Which included $255 million in exports of mollusks and $30 million of frozen fish.
