News: The state’s Growth Management Hearings Board has ruled that Mercer Island’s recently-adopted Comprehensive Plan failed to adequately plan for housing for all income levels.

The case, brought by @futurewise.bsky.social, was the first big test of HB 1220, one of WA’s big new housing laws.

For citizenship by descent, just proof of lineage—and you can go as far back as you need to. In my case it’ll be my great-great grandparents!

Just need to locate some birth certificates, which has already involved a lot of Google Translated emails and may involve a trip to Croatia this summer, 😆.

I’m working on family records that would allow me to obtain Croatian/EU citizenship! 🫡

Still have power near U Village in Ravenna but given the noises I’m hearing outside, I’m not confident of that continuing.
