Update on Kimi Antonelli after his crash in FP3, Mercedes has said that the chassis and Power Unit look to be ok, but there is no guarantee the team can get the car rebuilt in time for qualifying as there is a lot of work to do on it.

Official. Stroll will not take part in FP3 due to what the team says is a suspected Internal Combustion Engine issue.

FIA: “Following the feedback received in the last hour from Teams and Drivers, and additional analysis contributed by Teams, the decision to remove Straight Mode zone #4 for Albert Park is rescinded.
For the avoidance of doubt, this amendment is effective immediately..”
Well. The FIA has now rescinded this and straight line mode will now be activated between turn 6-9

Teams will now need to make setup adjustments to their cars which would mean that the cars will go slower on the straight from T6-T9. #AustralianGP
The FIA says that there will be a change to straight line mode in turns six and nine for safety. Straight line mode will not be enabled here.
Drivers were concerned about losing downforce in between six and nine when battling with each other.
After what has been described as a collaborative process between the FIA, F1 teams and drivers, the FIA have issued and updated the Driving Standard Guidelines and Penalty Guidelines.

That does it for FP2. Oscar Piastri, quickest, Antonelli in the Mercedes 2 tenths back in P2, Russell 3 tenths, Hamilton 3 tenths, Leclerc 5 tenths. It's better than I thought it was going to be for field spread. Honestly thought it would have been worse. Could be an interesting qualifying / race.
Newey goes on to say that the team came to Australia with four batteries but two are suffering with communication issues so the team now only has two operational batteries.
In regards to the vibrations: The team tried a different solution for the vibrations in Lances car in FP1 there was analysis going on if it worked or not that will define what they do in FP2
