Five for the Future: 118 companies pledge to Core, but only 61 had credited contributors in WP 6.8. Others may focus on docs, plugins, or events.
👥 By contributor numbers, Automattic and rtCamp lead, with 10up in third (21 people). Whodunit and Multidots tie for fourth (14 and 13). KrishaWeb and Authlab each have 8.
Automattic dominates with 2,864 contributions from 113 contributors, followed by rtCamp (653 props). GoDaddy, Kinsta, Yoast, and 10up round out the top 6.
🌍 Contribution-wise, the USA leads with 1,000 props, followed by India, Japan, Australia, Georgia, and Italy. But by contributor count, India takes #1 for the first time with 155 people, then USA (101) and Bangladesh (35)!
