Maybe he’s born with it? Douglas is always so super shiny after he’s had a shower. He’s wagging so hard his tail has blurred.

It’s a bit of a relief that Doug’s lameness turned out to be an abscess, rather than a soft tissue injury. A week of antibiotics and and anti-inflammatories and we’ll be back to hiking the hills. His aversion to the vet clinic grows even worse, so he has some anti-anxiety meds for next time.
