I have enjoyed the first two hours of Requiem more than the entirety of Resident Evil 8
I have enjoyed the first two hours of Requiem more than the entirety of Resident Evil 8
Thank you for dropping this one day after my latest hospital trip, Toho
Please Sunrise... A crumb of Hathaway 2 in U.S. Theaters...
Arms complete, stopping here for the night. Feels good to be back!
I popped off so hard, it's tied with the Grimoire as my favorite grunt. Between this and Nightingale this line has a bunch of my faves lmao
If I wasn't lazy I'd just paint it but I sure would love the purple/black/gold variant, would shamelessly double dip tbh
I think I'm an RE 1/100 Defender at this point. The kits are fun, leave the weird guys alone
Building a new guy
I don't know how she got this
Unlike other Mecha Tabletop RPGs, this one is-*gets kirked*
This thing has been keeping me going for a bit now, and I couldn't be more excited about how it's shaping up as I sculpt away at it. I really do think this scratches a particular set of itches other mecha games don't, at least from my experience
At the point of refining this tabletop RPG where I'm reminded of the painting process videos I've seen - little tweaks and refinements to specific areas that work in tandem with the areas around it to sell a specific experience. It's been really rewarding.
Absolutely heinous
Final thought for the night: This game is really leaning in hard on motherhood as a theme with the two major bosses I've encountered so far and I can't help but feel a lot of this would play better if we were playing as Mia instead
I'm not sure how I feel about the most intense encounter I've had with an enemy so far being a big axe-wielding giant man guarding a grave stone with an expensive cup inside of it, and as far as I can tell he's completely optional
Through the dollhouse and did a bunch of optional stuff in the village. Big baby monster was kinda neat but getting around it felt a little too straightforward. Sorta felt the same way about Dimitrescu. Then after you get upstairs the "boss fight" was... underwhelming
I forgot this game was the original breaking point for yellow paint discourse and I gotta say... not a fan. I think this is having the opposite effect on me where I don't think twice about a big glowing outline/highlight because it's non-diegetic. Now I'm wondering who's painting everything yellow
This was one of the worse work weeks in a while lol. Going to do my best to beat RE8 tonight and tomorrow so I can start 9.
strayknight posting an image on tumblr showing (presumably the poster) a yellow pikmin plush grabbed tightly with the text: "the club sucked so bad so me and my pikmin are going home due to aforementioned club being so sucks" saejima-nyan04 asks "OP why did you bring your pikmin to the club" to which strayknight responds with "he likes the espresso martinis there"
First up, a big big classic...
Patlabor: Early Days - The Complete OVA Series!
The original Patlabor OVA series is coming back, subbed & dubbed!
Let it be known that Chiaki J. Konaka penned an episode of Australian Ultraman where the team captain almost lets the world get destroyed because he's too busy playing pong
My new theory is that the Dancing Plague of 1518 is the result of a time traveler introducing some peasants to short-form video
The idea that Tomino directed Gundam when he was 38 is absolutely crazy. But Char's Counter Attack? That is the most a piece of robot fiction has ever been made by a 47-year-old in all of history
idk this feels like a sauceless follow-up to 7 so far lol. Not sure how far in I am but hoping the other areas give me more to chew on
Am I just misremembering or is this way more guided/theme park ride feeling than 7? I'm a little baffled by how much ammo I have and how little stress I've felt looking at the map and going "Oh god, they're going to make me go through THERE?" and that's half the fun of RE to me!
I got through the castle.
This game is... Okay. It doesn't really feel like Resident Evil, though.
Zech's dub voice in Wing sounds like what you'd expect it to sound like if it was a guy voicing Zechs in a 2007 The Abridged Series version of Wing
