That moment when you turn on a random episode of Hollywood Squares and see excited contestant @therosseverett.bsky.social, sending my brain all the way back to SourceFed and a simpler life. Good times.
Thatβs a thing?
Who are your season 2 guests? π₯
Oh hey π
Letβs build up #cyclONEnation here! I need some help with this one though. Lmk who Iβve missed and Iβll add them!
Time to build up the Bluesky #cyclONEnation letβs goo!!
So, howβs life in the Bluesky these days?
Oh, and enjoy the narration of Morgan Freeman!
A lot of people will view the last 8 minutes of the series as heavy handed and too much, I thought it struck the right chord and offered the proper warning for the future.
Highly recommend the full series, especially if youβre curious about life before and after the dinosaurs!
There is so much to go over that everything, while interesting and entertaining, felt rushed. I think the highlights for me were featuring how the planet responded to the dinosaur extinction event, and then the final 20 minutes of the last episode- the introduction of man.
Just finished the 8-episode series Life On Our Planet on Netflix, and I would give it an overall rating of 7.5/10. A lot of great moments and showcases of the major moments in the planetβs history, but it honestly couldβve been twice the episode length.
Thank you, Matthew Perry, you will be missed.
Even if theyβre people far away who never met you and your only connection is through that screen, that impression is real. What we can do now is be thankful for the laughs we had along the way, and hope that others were in a better place in life because of his presence on screen.
Even if I was the only one laughingβ¦which in a lot of cases, was the Chandler Bing of it all. Perry had many more excellent roles during and after Friends, but even he left some of Chandler in every part he had, which was very telling. Itβs hard seeing people that helped shape parts of you pass away
I always had more of a connection to Chandler. His style of humor in all scenarios really spoke to me as an awkward kid making his way through the world. Jokes in times of celebration and even jokes in moments of sadness or pain. Perry played that role in a way that allowed me to find a comedic voice
I wanted to sleep on it before writing something longer, understanding that Matthew Perryβs death hit me harder than I expected. I grew up in a home that watched the TV show βFriendsβ a lot..like, a lot..and even though people always thought I was more like the character Ross because of the dinosaur
Iβm here! What should I say first, itβs a big momentβ¦OH, of course. Check out the Tales From a Jurassic World YouTube page for our first season of the podcast! It was such a great show to be a part of and I hope you all enjoy as well!! youtube.com/@talesfromaj...
