I'm realizing how rarely I truly get extremely excited I get for a game. I'm asking myself things I never ask.
Do I stream it or naw?
Monitor or big TV?
Headset or surround?
1st or 3rd person?
Will I leave the lights on?
Which controller am I picking?
Do I got enough snacks?
Looks like Im still not getting it this weekend... I dont think I can wait. Maybe Ill try to see if any stores have standard in stock tomorrow. Sounds like its getting sold out at a lot of places.
Crisis Core has always held a special place in my heart and yet oddly enough, this is my first time jumping in to FF7. On chapter 8 already and I'm really enjoying myself with it.
Anyone else remember Battleborn? The big overwatch rival from gearbox and 2K. I would say it was the OG Concord except its servers were live for 5 years.
That's a wrap on Stellar Blade! A solid 8/10 game. Combat was fun a mix of FF16 meets black myth wukong. I can't get enough of it.
If you are interested in picking it up, I recommend mainlining the game. The side content can bloat the game a good bit.

Its been a long day. My son had to have surgery to remove two teeth and get FOUR crowns. Poor little man is on the mend but he is okay now. Safe to say he gets whatever he wants over the next couple days.

I highly recommend the game. If you like DMC style of game you will like this. The main game has a great story! The ultimate edition is on sals for 35USD on xbox currently
Wrapped up both FF16 DLCs. Tides of annihilation was a really great expansion with a cool story and boss fights. The 2nd DLC was honestly forgettable. Basicly one big linear mission with a forgettable story.
Playing through FF16 DLC and its easy to remember why I loved it so much!

Here is a thread for every game I finish in 2026. I'm going to start out with my most recent one, #cronosthenewdawn. The Atmosphere was so good, really fun and unique combat, and a really cool story. Easily a 9/10.

Finished both DLC's and popped the platinum trophy for Control in the process! Foundation was a bit of a let down but man oh man that's AW DLC was fire!
Rolled credits on Control for the first time today. Absolutely phenomenal game. Wasn't vibing with the story, but man the abilities and gameplay loop had me hooked. Thinking of diving in to the foundation DLC next.
Haven't used the GG app in a long time. January 24th 2024 to be exact lol I'd like to get back in the habit of using it again.
Finally finished Ghost of Yotei! Absolutely amazing game. I see a lot of people describe it as a story of revenge but if you ask me its one about healing and what trauma does to a person.

Kinda wild to pay crazy money for that much pre-recorded stuff. So glad I didnt get tickets. Yeah that isn't exactly super hype when you know the encore is planned. Let alone, if they didnt do it, the show would be lacking a huge part of the show's identity
