This whole thing, start to finish, feels stage-managed to me. It's the same "gee whiz, ya think!?" tone both her husband & Obama have taken on the phenomenon. Plus, she *announced* in the post-deposition presser that she was asked about UFOs "at the end," telling the press exactly what to look for.

The thing is, belief in perceived FOIA loopholes is shockingly common among government employees and contractors. So I tend to believe that Puthoff is actually mistaken, rather than lying, but I think Gerb is right that the Legacy Program does a lot of manipulation around open records laws.
Something Gerb said in his latest episode really resonated with me from my time around Congress. He thinks Hal Putoff isn't being truthful when he says that the Legacy contractors hold all the cards as they're not subject to FOIA.
