Courts have ruled 4,400 times that ICE jailed people illegally. It hasn’t stopped. The decisions amount to a huge legal rebuke, but the administration has continued jailing people indefinitely.

That the last meaningful mechanism for push-back against Trump's authoritarianism is proving largely toothless does not bode well for the midterm elections. I wish I had an alternative that would likely be effective.
