The blatant bigotry of this has already been covered, but "we're not making therapy" is pretty rich from the guy who made for example UP and INSIDE OUT.

So I signed at a table next to the Dungeon Crawler Carl guy at Comic Con. If your ego ever needs a check, that’s a good one.

The Green party has been unapologetically supportive of trans people and they took a seat from Labour after they gave cracked down on trans people. Liberal parties cannot abandon trans people without losing their base.

Reasons a cis women might have Y chromosomes:

- Twin brother
- Gestating a child with a Y chromosome
- Bone marrow transfusion from someone with a Y chromosome
- Being intersex (we know of XY women who have naturally conceived and given birth)

Watching MOTD highlights of NUFC-Everton, I see that Newcastle, who had ditched illegal betting partner FUN88 at beginning of season, have now teamed up with 8Xbet (also partner of Sunderland, Bournemouth, Villa, Forest...), an even worse operator, linked to cyber slavery compound in Cambodia.

As journalists working today many of us are taught to recognise disinformation when we see it and fight back against it.

Unfortunately there are some who willingly seek it out and put it on their front pages. A disgrace to the profession.

Also… @daisychristo.bsky.social has made me excited for the potential of LLMs to reduce workload and improve consistency in marking.

How great would it be if this model made it to the exam boards?

Really enjoyed @bennewmark.bsky.social’s talk on the utility of diagnoses.

I might have missed the point, but it seems that it boils down to β€œhelp break down the barriers to learning; don’t create problems where they might not exist; students are people.”

This 'correction' from @lewisgoodall.com regarding accusations from Reform and the Conservatives that the Greens engaged in sectarianism, deserves to be widely read.

But it is another example of how Reform boost turnout for progressive parties. They are so profoundly toxic. When you put it alongside the Tories losing their deposit, the right have a serious problem.

Sarah Vine called @zackpolanski.bsky.social β€œthe biggest creep in British politics”.

On the one hand, her long exposure to her ex-husband would make her something of an expert on the subject.

On the other hand, my fundamental humanity makes me loathe to credit anything the Daily Mail shares.

Labour campaigners are not going to get potential Green voters back with a purely aggressive approach that heaps scorn on Green concerns and Green-leaning milieus.

Scornful "my way or the highway" party tribalism impulses from Labour is what is pushing so many voters away in the first place.
