It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of our colleague Keith Allen.

Keith joined us in February 2020 and regularly sat as a Deputy District Judge. Keith also sat as a part-time Judge in the Mental Health Tribunal.

All of our thoughts are with his family and friends.

On-the-run rapist jailed over attempted Sheffield sex attack Neil Trennan, 61, was serving a life sentence for rape when he absconded and attacked the victim.

Michelle Colborne KC and Abigail Langford were instructed to defend Neil Trennan, who appeared before Sheffield Crown Court on the 25th February 2026, for sentence.

Four guilty of murdering man shot in Sheffield street - BBC News Abdullah Hassan was shot after being lured from his home in Sheffield, following a dispute.
