Behold the eschaton What a disappointment. #larp #nhs #rugby #sphynx #lgbtq #bluf #ttrpg #carcosa #yellowsign Still fighting the last titanomachy. Old enough to know better; daft enough to do it anyway. I am not sorry, and I would do it again, too.
Finally discharged, waiting for taxi, then train. Nearly home.
It was sub optimal, for sure.
Was told by increasilgly unconnvinced nurse at 5am smothering by pillow was not a recognised therapy. Will not miss being on this ward.
Home tomorrow, doctor happy with me. Good news, as man in neighbouring bed was possessed by the devil last night. He's Romanian and rcovering from throat surgery and spent all night gargling, spitting, swearing and shouting in his sleep.
I consoled myself with Strange New Worlds and the fuzzy embrace of Captain Dad. Defo the right shade of blue.
Negatives: two of my vertebrae and one of my discs hsve dissolved into bone soup and are resettimg naturally. This will cost me a permanent crick in my neck and the loss of a bit of height. Could be fixed with op to put metal cage in my neck, 5% chance of paralysis below c3.
Positives: thhe x-ray that spooked my consultant snd got me emergency admitted looked worse than it was. Hospital seems disappointed I can walk. Likely to be released a week today fingers crossed. Am in Liverpool at Walton Centre (Aintree) if anyones local.
Back into hospital as an inpatient. In the Walton in Runcorn this time, for assessment and possible spinal surgery. So theres a thing thats happening. Going in tomorrow.
Seeing a lot of online hate for Starfleet Academy so decided to give it a try. It appears no worse than any of the other nu trek series; what am I missing?
I mean, hilarious ship design aside. Saucer, secondary hull, two nacelles, its really not hard.
Bad news out of todays MRI - infection still present although largely cpnfined to spine now. This after 13 weeks of intravenous antibiotics. Awaiting new treatment plan.
Had to vet special permjssion to skip an antibiotics dose to make the timinv work. Thank hou Dr HEDGEH,, i promise I will stop appending OG to your nameplate.
And that, my friends, is how one "sends them home, tae think agin". Again. My run of attending winning Calcutta Cups is certainly coming to a middle.
People often talk about double yolk eggs, but nobody ever brings up the difficult second albumen
Tony is having a nostalgia gaming evening, meaning I am watching him pilot fetish Sarah Palin in gun-kata mayhem vs angels to a soundtrack of lounge classic reimaginned as acid j-pop.
Trump snd MAGA - another great example of @garius 's Trust Thermocline in action.
I have just ventured a journey upon the Omnibus through rural North Wales, and yet here I am unmurdered.
To rephrase - the impact has ruptured a.nacelle, and I am venting drive plasma.
The good news is that these new military-grade antibiotics are having a profound effect. The bad news is also that these military-grade antibiotics are having a profound effect. My intestimal flora would be reenacting the Battle of Jutland had any of them survived..
"and with a kiss, the spell is broken."
I have just seen Pillion. What a surprisingly subtle and well put together film.
Also, cant thunk of another film as close to the knuclle in terms of portraying a bdsm relationship. Cruising, maybe?
Didnt Dudley Dursley scrub up well?
My ongoing infection has.got.to my innrr ear, which is messing with my balance. Which is an excuse for a new walking stick!
Stupid sexy Sauron
This one earned an audible groan
Heart attack end Nov - 3 week hospital stay, now daily visits for IV antibiotics. As an aside I now have sevsre tremors in my hands, which is why my spelling/typing is so atrocious of late. Somewhat downhearted by the results as irt baasically confirms the.underlying condition has worsened.
Unfortunately, my MRI came back woth, and i quote, "ynexpected outcomes:"
Six more weeks of faily IV. And a masaligned disk at the C5/C6 joint. And nerve damage to my left ear, szhoulder and back. And a growingg codeine habit.
Still, diabetes ba k under control so thrtres yhat.
Just watched The Last Duel, Ridley Scottt's nedieval French Rashomon. Fantastic pwerformance from all three leads, good to see Matt Damon letting his innate unllikeability shine through.
My resonance has been magnetised. Soon I will be able to see my own insides. What a time to be alive.

Some days you are the blobfish
How can it not be excellent? There is no evidence whatsoever that remakes of beloved 80s fantasy films end badly.
Oh on his hands he has orifices,
Oh on hia hands he has orifices,
Oh on his hands he has orifices,
And he hasn't got a.. oh.
