Here are two lovely examples (there are more) of the Davies Charlton Merlin's (0.75cc). The Red Head is a Super Merlin (Aero), launched in July 1955. The second is a Marine version to be used on boats.
I do love the box's that that these engines came in. Here is a selection of small British diesel engines (apart from the test stand).
So, I collect British made model diesel engines. Some may wonder what I mean By 'Diesel' engine. For models the diesel engines are two stroke, with capacities less then 5cc. The term diesel is a bit misleading as these engines are not true diesels but are indeed a Compression Ignition (C.I) engines.
