Please, push back on this "conviction" narrative!! Demand the receipts! Under what court was he (or any of them) convicted? Where is the indictment; the arraignment? Where is the sentence issued from the court? These are ALL public records, so they're not that hard to find.

Check the census for almshouses and poorhouses in Oneida and nearby counties. I've found several of my female ancestors hidden in those records. Including ones we never knew had prior children. Search by her name and known associate names, too, which can be listed as "relatives."

Agreed, and, IMO, they will find an excuse or just do it anyway. Kind of spitballing here, but where were the MAGAs protesting during Biden? I remember the Tea Party during Obama, but during Biden only "Trump rallies" and pseudo-conservative "conventions." Were there any traditional style protests?
