The "best practices" advice is still to file the BOI reports regardless, and especially if the corp has business that crosses state lines ("interstate commerce"). I got that from several gurus at the Hawaii Tax Institute conference last month.

The judge was United States District Court Judge Mazzant out of the Eastern District of Texas. The case is Texas Top Cop Shop, Inc., et al. v. Garland, et al.

A Texas judge has issued a preliminary injunction—nationwide—blocking the Treasury from enforcing the CTA. An appeal is almost certain.
