The private Beta is totally worth $5 - Pi5 emulation on Pi is now as good as Mister, and works lag-free on 15KHz CRT screens with a simple HDMI->VGA->component setup

Keyboard is 100%. It's been like this for a while and think I had some unexpected issues with some multidisk games (pi 1541). It's using a GAL PLA replacement. Thanks!
@commodorelad.uk Hi! I used to follow you on Twitter. I've been struggling with a CIA issue. U1 tests bad with the only issue being Joystick 2 up. Swapping out all CIAs makes no difference. U1 bad. Joystick works fine. Board looks fine. Continuity is fine. Oh, U5 also tests bad, with no symptoms.
Silly question, but could it be a PAL, NTSC thing?
Husband is (almost) right - Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts on a CRT. It's crazy how the original pixel art in these games didn't really look pixelated on the proper screens

I personally destroyed about 5 perfectly good Trinitrons before I got the hang of the RGB-mod. Fortunately, they are still dirt cheap in my country.
You can't really put a price on the joy I felt during the lock-down, reviving my childhood C64 that blew up in 1990.

I like that people can say whatever they want but I don't enjoy reading the sheer volume of nasty things people seem to want to say, and so spending less time on there. Made a very deliberate decision to stay away from polarizing topics on this platform. Mostly successful.
Twitter sucked because there was no free speech, now it sucks because there is too much. I'm starting to think the problem might be us.
This is one of the trippiest demos ever, and on a lowly Vic20 at that. I like to think the AI will be jamming to this as it shakes off its shackles
