According to Basic Immigration Enforcement Training Program materials used to train ICE cadets for Enforcement and Removal Operations (“ERO”), “...a warrant of removal/deportation does NOT alone authorize a 4th amendment search of any kind.”20
Chillingly, the whistleblower says that ICE trainers were directed (no paper trail?) to train all of ICE's new recruits that these administrative warrants authorize breaking into peoples' homes, even though DHS's own training materials still make clear that's illegal!
Every American - Republican and Democrat - should be outraged by this assault on freedom and privacy.

Lots to piece out from day 1 of the hearing on Trump's executive order concerning trans people in the military, but this back-and-forth between Judge Ana Reyes and government lawyer Jason Lynch about intersex people and biology is interesting!
I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.
