The GP contracts that we talk about are with GP partners that says, as a private business, if you do x you get paid y?

We should be saying, come work for the NHS as a GP on NHS T&Cs and do what we need you to do clinically rather than what you’re paid incentives for?

Rather than change the contract, better to incentivise non-
partner GPs to move over to be employed by the NHS directly. The more this could be achieved, the better it would be for all of us.
