Kneeling on the cold floor of Saint Raymanaud’s Cathedral, the assassin prays for forgiveness. Not the forgiveness for lives taken, but instead for having not prayed. A first prayer; her first prayer. Eyes covered by a hood, only her lips and nose show, but even with so much covered her face remains impassive. The assassin is mimicking what she has seen others do with hands together, pressed to her chin. Back too straight, body almost rigid; the unnaturalness to her nature can be seen in both bodily hold and the way her ears seem to sag from the weight of the action. Prayer and faith had never called to her, but the world she had known had shifted. Where everything had been grey now bright sun and refracted light follows her. Vision changed, with no doctors able to diagnose anything ill, the only rational explanation for her new vision of the world is outside influence. A goddess. Who knows which, but one, which has chosen the assassin and uses the world itself to influence the viera. So she has stopped, for the first time in so very long, to try religion for the first time in always. ------------ And yes.... This is a D&D character idea I'm just trying out~

I do not know who gifted this height to you because it certainly was not your father and I. Krieg (Farhad), chuckling: Sorry, Mama... I'm even wearing flat shoes today! And do not worry about the guests, they are dear friends and I have already- ow! Neda reaches up to start brushing and styling her son's hair into place.

Neda drops her hands suddenly in defeat, realizing the tuft of hair is determined to stay where it it. Neda, sighing: But I give up. I had hoped after all this time, perhaps it finally developed into something a bit more amenable. But it is determined to stay unruly... Krieg smiles sheepishly as he looks off to the side. Krieg: Ha... I actually don't mind it so much... Hale thinks it is cute...
