Mount Gower climb on Lord Howe Island - 875m elevation gain in 3.8km - so about 23% average incline. Absolutely stunning views of the entire island.

Not difficult to get to, about 2 hours flight from Sydney, but can be difficult to get in. There is a limit of 400 visitors to the island at any time, so you generally need to book well in advance to get your accommodation.
