The music is the most rinkydink goofy happy funtime music to ever come out of an FM synth, and its not bad but it feels so unfitting when the game is one of the most infamously hard STGs ever made. Also it got renamed to Truxton outside of japan, and people really insist on calling it that. Truxton.

trying out some Toaplan games and Tatsujin Ou is so bizarre to me. It's called "Expert King" with a badass title screen, but the art style in game looks like a fake game from the background of a tv show, except the bomb, because thats a massive screaming skull on fire for some reason
donpachi isn't soul crushing to play the way doj was but I think I actually Hate it

first 2 stages could still be cut without losing anything though lmfao
also I refused to learn any routing for this game so I probably had a much harder time than was necessary. I basically needed to no miss until stage 4 boss at the very minimum, which made getting runs started way more frustrating than it needed to be
This run really did not deserve to clear but I somehow no-missed all of stage 6 until the boss going in with just 1 bomb. Maybe the best shmup playing I've done in my life lmfao
