Multicolored mountains rise to the sky in Zion National Park.
A scene from Zion National Park - I can't remember the name of this mountain, but the entire park is full of beautiful scenes like this.

The cool thing about Wyoming is how quickly you can disappear into the wilderness when you need to.

A cascading mountain waterfall tumbling down a tiered face of dark, wet slate rock. The water fans out into dozens of thin ribbons and streams in the upper section before converging into a rushing, frothy cascade below. Patches of bright green moss cling to the rock face, and bare winter branches frame the edges of the scene. A fallen log cuts diagonally across the middle of the falls.

A dirt hiking trail winds past low alpine shrubs toward a still mountain lake partially ringed by snow in the PNW. Snow-covered slopes rise steeply on the left, their reflection visible in the calm water, while a dense stand of conifers clings to rocky terrain on the right. Low clouds obscure the upper peaks under an overcast sky.
The lake was more cooperative than the sky. Both were worth it. Happy #Stunday!

Aurora Borealis
The Aurora Borealis is probably my favorite Borealis.
Since I've had visions of slot canyons in my head this week I thought I'd share what may be my favorite slot canyon photo, taken years ago in Lower Antelope Canyon.

Happy Thursday! We are almost through the week! This view of the Bay, Sandy Hook (NJ), and the ocean 18 minutes before sunrise turned out to be my favorite of the morning. Tap for full size. I hope you have a great day!

This is how I am now.
And this is how I am now.
And this is how I am now.
And this is how I am now.
And so on.
Like the sky, my true state is constantly changing.
Iβm in constant awareness of myself.
... I learned from Nikos [Louvros] and from Corfu ...: swim early, before the day warms and when the water still has a faint bite. Swim after lunch, when the sea feels silky. Swim at dusk, when the surface holds the dayβs heat and the light becomes thick and slow. www.theguardian.com/travel/2026/...
If you can catch dawn at low tide, it's a truly magical experience - all big sky and endless reflections. It feels like you're walking on clouds. Here's one of the shots I've taken recently at West Shore #Llandudno #photograph #landscapephotography
Looking out from a cold, high-altitude ledge where the world feels immense and quiet. In the foreground, heavy, dark slabs of rock drop away into a deep basin. A pale, glacial river threads through the floor of the valley, appearing small and fragile against the scale of the surrounding mountains. Thick, wet clouds hang low, swallowing the tops of the ridges and casting everything in a somber, muted light. Itβs a view that feels both rugged and incredibly still.
