NAACP has specifically sued over this re-districting. Pre-existing lawsuits have been updated to include the 2025 effort. The DoJ just isn't suing for reasons that should be obvious.

There are multiple lawsuits challenging the Texas redistricting. Some of them have been ongoing for years.

The administration’s NASA budget is offensive but JPL has been facing issues for a while.

Like everyone talking about these layoffs needs to look at the trend in US science missions (fewer rovers), to go read the report on why Psyche missed its first launch window, then speculate why JPL isn’t getting more missions assigned.

I don’t think JPL is contributing to any of the moon activities, and if they were I’m pretty sure they’d end up delaying it more.

If we want it to remain on schedule we should keep it as far away from JPL as possible. (See: Psyche debacle)
