My giant Summer Wine ninebark in full bloom. The green foliage is resurrection lilies.

An acrylic painting of honeysuckle, surprise lilies, daffodils, yucca, and a limestone foundation block covered in moss in the middle of a deserted area, indicating that in the distant past there was a house located there, now reclaimed except for these signs. The plants were likely planted by the woman of the house, and could be seen as a sort of memorial to her, generations after her name is forgotten. (Honeysuckle is fairly ubiquitous, but does often indicate nearby human activity.)

You're in the middle of nowhere and see yucca, daffodils, surprise lilies, and hand-hewn mossy limestone under a blanket of honeysuckle.

I finally went back to this winter still life... halfway through spring. Had to throw out the still life months ago so I had to do it from memory 🤦🏻‍♀️ First time I've really painted glass, a learning experience and lots of fun! Hope to do more.
