🚨 BREAKING: Last night thieves entered the Drents Museum in Assen, The Netherlands using explosives. They got away with precious objects from the ehibition 'Dacia - Empire of Gold and Silver'. The display features treasures from the ancient kingdom of Dacia, from 20th c BC to 3rd c AD. HORRIFIC!
Utterly depressing news. Last night there was a burglary in the museum of Assen in the Netherlands. Several prized ancient Dacian artifacts, including the golden helmet from Cotofenesti, were stolen. These were on loan as part of the Dacia exhibit which had been touring Europe the last few years.

Ich war bislang am meisten überrascht, die Stücke im Museum des Archäologischen Instituts in Accra (Ghana) zu sehen. Sie stammen, so weit ich mich erinnere, aus Grabungen in den Forts an der Goldküste. Ansprechpartner ist der Kollege Wazi Apoh in Accra.

In Erlangen hat @UniFAU unsere Tagung der Gesellschaft zum Studium des Christlichen Ostens begonnen! Nach Begrüßung durch unseren Vorsitzenden #ThomasKremer beginnen wir mit einem Auftaktvortrag von #UweGräbe zur Situation von Christen und Christinnen im Nahen Osten.
Für einen Besuch der Podien fehlte die Zeit. Hab trotzdem nebenan noch #Prominenz beim #kirchentag2023 gesichtet 😊.
Auch heute hatten wir wieder viel tolle Besucher:innen und Begegnungen am Stand von @UniFAU und @uni_bamberg_of für @ekd beim #kirchentag2023. Es wurden viele Traumstundenpläne für das #Theologiestudium erstellt und gescrabbelt. Herzlichsten Dank an alle Helfenden! #DEKT
