I think I only heard of the Monopoly POW editions recently.

Maps were hidden in all sorts of things a POW might get - chess sets, gramaphone records, etc

There was also a Mister T card game in 1983 as well, by Waddingtons.

Waddingtons was a big British toy company. They were bought by Hasbro in 1994.

During WWII, Waddingtons made special Monopoly games for Allied prisoners of war - with hidden escape materials inside such as money and maps.
