I should do a thread of my successes this year. There've been 2 dozen completed projects! And some of them have been kinda hefty! Plus I keep learning new tricks and getting new friends engaged!
I'm also really proud of my crochet progress this year, after I started doing it more seriously. It started out as a way to get me away from socmed. And it worked great! But now I've got spreadsheets about it because I can't be normal about nothin.
At least my SiL's gift is complete and I reached the point with my brother's that I can technically stop at any time. But I feel like he deserves a full second skein. Crazy how much yarn it takes to make a thing sometimes!

Yesterday had to have all the upper implants removed because a couple were dangerously loose and now I've got 4 months with a daytime denture to let the bone grafts heal in.
If my dentist were even 1% less kind to me, I would be a *wreck*
I mean. Look I'm not glad to look like a dog that ate a bee, or an assaulted Who from Whoville, or the Sicilian from the Princess Bride. I'm not enjoying the constant sinus headache or the antibiotics. I'm really not enjoying my new lisp.
But I am enjoying the removal of all that mess.
The teeth are officially all gone. Surgery 2 was absolutely brutal and I did not enjoy it at all. But it's done and it should only improve from here. The worst should truly be over. My dentist is the best I've ever been to in my entire life and I'm glad to be going through this with her.
It appears we've miscounted our cat's age because time isn't real anymore, and our big beautiful boy is not 5, he's 6! ๐ฑ
