I wanted to move in.

Stopped into the gorgeous old Bixby Memorial Library in Vergennes, Vermont, recently. Wonderful history throughout. Also picked up a couple of books from their sale cart. Dickens' Bleak House and this novella. Took me right back to high school in the mid-80s.

We didn't scroll my IG I showed her my portfolio book (very simple album with prints I make). And she loved it. Lingered over photos. Pointed out things. No pinch-and-expand. (still nerve-wracking for me though). 🫣But when she goes to my site, she'll see it syncs up. #Photography

Another good discussion between Grant and @billshapiro.bsky.social. I agreed with both views of things, at different points. Still goes back to what I tell people: Gotta have your own website. Don't trust social platforms. Also, I met with a photo editor this week about freelance work. (1/2)
