For those who don’t know much about oval racing and would like to learn more about it I found this video really helpful in terms of going into all the different things drivers have to manage and think about during an oval race (incl sometimes turning the wheel to the right)

She was making a point. If you think the only thing involved with oval racing is turning left, that is a fundamental misunderstanding of what it takes to do oval racing. You’re free to not like something but it’s not fair for you to mischaracterize what is involved with this type of racing.

I didn’t realize that the reason why hulk did not start the f1 race in AUS was because the car lost communication with the pits. Which is a reminder that Scott Dixon finishing the indycar opener in *2nd* last year after his radio died halfway through is INSANE and just like the Dixie-est thing ever.

I saw it on imax in theaters and thought it was totally worth it. The movie is dumb but in theaters it’s a really immersive experience, which I think is worthwhile. The closest I’m ever gonna get to feeling like I’m an f1 driver!
I loved seeing for Arvid! Zhou Guanyu pulled it off his first year at Alfa Romeo and it made me cry (him too apparently 😂)
