Oh for sure. I donβt go to read, just to borrow books. Was surprised at the selection at my local library. WAY more than I thought they had. I misjudged them haha
Thatβs awesome! I dusted off my library card and our family has been going once a week. Canβt recommend it enough! It just feels so good to be in a quiet space filled with books. Has already helped me read more this year than last year!
They resisted. They turned up their noses. βPlease, weβll eat anything elseβ, they begged. But I stayed the course! I gave my children NO QUARTER! And now? They eat lentils! Enjoy them, even! Muahahahaha! π π₯£
Making coffee as quietly as possible at the office:
1. close break room door
2. press coffee grinder against chest
3. cover grinder with jacket
4. proceed to grind beans
Enjoy π€«
I have two coworkers who both have candy jars in their offices. One just filled theirs with Jelly Bellies, the other individually wrapped Sour Patch Kids. This is a candy arms race and Iβm CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE. π³

A photo of a TV playing βLegend of Ochiβ, and the Ochi puppet they made is on screen. Incredibly lifelike and adorable!
Watched Legend of Ochi with the family. Really dug the vibe and everyone is in love with this little guy, worth watching just for him!
It was so good! Local high schoolers once again proving the power of ART! π
Sitting down for a local production of Fiddler on the Roof. Never seen it before! Excited~
Only a fool supports war.
8 index cards with covered in colorful pastel crayon art
I find it mildly annoying but also absolutely endearing that my daughter will put her artwork all over the house. She looks at my bookshelf or desk and thinks βI know JUST what this space needs!β π her latest is the Index Card Series, all bangers

Metroid Fusion! Also a big one for me!
9 games, 1998 - 2018.
Very tough to whittle down such a short list but I tried to think of the biggest touchstones!
This is so awesome!!! I didnβt know the author had cruel politics. Definitely would not have guessed that based on the importance of love in The Hyperion Cantosπ
Very cool project! Podcast eps are good listening. Definitely need to get the book!
What a lovely game idea (and a wonderful trailer)!

Doing my part! Hope you feel better soon!

The Shrike meets Colonel Kassad in the sands of Hyperion, from Dan Simmons 'Hyperion Cantos'.
This was an excellent series of books from an author I would later learn had cruel personal politics, which seemed to run counter to many of the themes in his work.

How many commissions do you normally take on at one time?
Iβve sworn off mainline Pkmn games for years. Sword broke me. Didnβt even finish it. The world lost its magic. I donβt like what it has become. But this Wind/Waves trailer? Weβre out in nature? Cute starters that might not suck? Okay, youβve got my attention, Game Freak π§
Tbf getting full enjoyment from a high luck & high skill game requires almost a cognitive dissonance... You must try super hard to win, exercising your skill, but also not care much about the final outcome, which may be dashed by luck. (This is also the personality type I most want to play with.)
