Youโre occasionally based in Oxford arenโt you? Forget Greggs, get to Hamblin Bread in the covered market and get one from there. You wonโt ever visit Greggs again after that.
Hope the "thank goodness the Premier League is back!!" takes are kept to a minimum this week โ the past few days has been football at its best & purest.
My book, Tadej Pogaฤar: Unstoppable, is out today!
It is the first in-depth biography of modern cycling's greatest, charting his dazzling rise to the top, full of fresh stories, insight and interviews with those close to him.

Not a surprise.
Cheers for sharing this. I can vividly recall watching that stage and becoming hooked on the race after seeing Otxoa do what he did on Hautacam.
Stage 12 finishes at Hautacam, a 16km climb first used at #TourdeFrance in 1994. At the 2000 Tour, Spaniard Javier Otxoa soloed to victory in the rain, holding off a hard-charging Lance Armstrong. Here's a piece I wrote about Otxoa and tragedy that was soon to follow. wildermedia.com/javier-otxoa...
Totally agree with you
Oscar Onley is continuing to shine at this Tour de France and is growing quietly more confident by the day.

Jonas Vingegaard is attacking purely for his own entertainment at this Tour de France. www.cyclingweekly.com/racing/i-did...
Todayโs expert analysis: it ends up! If Pogaฤar and Van der Poel donโt attack on the preceding climbs, surely theyโll be tempted on this final uphill drag (photo taken with 500m to go). Still the heart yearns for Roglificationโฆ #TdF2025
Good question. Thereโs always a chance anyone can crash, nobody is immune to that possibility, but I think Pog will be kept well out of trouble by his team until the finish. Heโll really fancy the stage today.
Pouring down with rain at the start this morning. A Pogcineration ala Flรฉche Wallone is definitely on the cards in Boulogne.
Iโm on the ground in Lille and ready for the start of another Tour de France. Check out my stories on @cyclingweekly.com over the next few days. ๐ซ๐ท
