And there I was, a few weeks ago, worried that there might not be that many "cool" features to talk about and cover in my usual release video... Boy, was I wrong!
USB Video Class and the new Twister power harness are my personal favorite features from #ZephyrRTOS 4.2 release.

👋
When is the last time you've looked at the #ZephyrRTOS documentation for supported boards, or at the page list the (hundreds of!) code samples? I did a small write-up to make sure you didn't miss any of the recent improvements :)

There was a *major* enhancement to the Zephyr RTOS recently opens it up to many more IoT use cases and hardware options, especially for 5G and asset tracking. We're pretty excited about it and @kartben.bsky.social did a great writeup about it!

A screencast showing the CLion IDE being used for debugging a Zephyr RTOS application.
Support for Zephyr RTOS in JetBrains CLion IDE is really neat, especially when it comes to debugging: thread awareness, dedicated view to inspect peripherals, and more. A full tutorial will soon be added to the main documentation, so watch out for it!
How did I not know of CodeChecker until today? It is an incredibly powerful free and open-source static code analysis tool, and it turns out it makes wonders when used together with Zephyr RTOS :) Check out this demo I recorded to learn more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCq9wKoezVk
From added ext2fs support to LwM2M power efficiency improvements—and of course *many* new boards & sensors—it was hard to catch up on a month worth of Zephyr goodness! Fingers crossed I didn't missing anything important! https://blog.benjamin-cabe.com/2023/08/11/zephyr-weekly-update-summer-catch-up
