Caitlin KALINOWSKI over X I resigned from OpenAl. I care deeply about the Robotics team and the work we built together. This wasn't an easy call. Al has an important role in national security. But surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got. This was about principle, not people. I have deep respect for Sam and the team, and I'm proud of what we built together.

Regardless of how people "feel" about the change, I think decisions should be based purely on evidence. Ignoring science in favour of "feelings" is not smart government.

Well someone's "belief" doesnt factor in. I would like to understand the science. At this point in the pandemic you'd have to have been a total hermit to avoid it completely if you're not masking. And I doubt such a huge % of people are hermits.

Im so shocked that I havent seen a study. It might unlock some kinda secret that could help inform a method to stop transmission. Id be curious if i were a scientist.

I remember a peer reviewed study that tested the blood of people who "never had covid" and it turned out that something like 80% did in fact have covid. Cant remember what year. But there does appear to be a small% who are totally immune to it. I dont think science understands why yet. Do you?

Same as the consumer carbon tax. Didnt stop them from trying to convince everyone it was fully responsible. So glad that's gone now and everything is so cheap again!
