How do the rump of "Scottish Labour" supporters feel about this situation?
If Anas Sarwar has been told not to commentate on UK politics, how exactly does he expect us to believe he'll function as a First Minister? Westminster will make some awful policy decision and the FM will go - "I'm not allowed to talk about that."
Cuba is a Socialist country and one of the poorest in the world suffering under a 60+ year economic blockade by the richest country in the world.
Guess which one has better healthcare, life expectancy, literacy, lower infant mortality and every type of crime.
It ain't the USA.
Good question.
Maybe we'll get Laura K to ask itπ

Reform: There's too much state interference.
Also Reform: We will force you to marry, stop you getting divorced, make you have babies, dictate your religious beliefs, control your sexuality, penalise you if you are disabled and deport you if you don't look right.

CRIVENS! (as no one ever says on Scotland).

Completely agree. I find myself agreeing with much of the Guardian content and views, but it's total and vehement opposition to fairly addressing the "Scottish question" means that I cannot justify contributing financially to it.
There's something deeply disturbing about prince Andrew being arrested (so quickly) for misuse of paperwork, when allegations he sex-trafficked & raped young girls have been ignored by police for years. It's almost as if the focus isn't on the victims after all...

Aye, bring back the speil chicken.π
So why does "the media", including the supposedly impartial bbc, give them so much coverage?
Other smaller parties, SNP, Greens, and Scottish Greens, Plaid Cymru and even, godelpus, the Lib Dems, get next to no coverage, despite their support and even uk parliamentary presence.
They are there to "preserve the union" and ensure the "senior partner's" continued authority.
Thank you for your question.
Quite often there are usa-specific references.
Yesterday it was "junior MINTS" wtf?
Still got it though π

Little seems to be made of the savings that home working can make.
My family all work partly, from home. Their employers save by not providing accommodation, heating, power etc.
The employers are, therefore, subsidised by utilities provided by the home.
There are advantages to both parties.
Plans to invade Greenland have just been cancelled after this

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeareβs Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.
