Someone on the reddit post for this one said to dip Man-Witch and I needed to draw it.

Gorp but slower.

Not content to just steal from the real deal, this game is also ripping off fan designs 😬

The warning message is mainly there to keep new readers in the loop, but does represent Galem & Vivian’s understanding.

Galem was told by Vivian, Kaz, and Celdrann in Covens & Cohorts that Man-Witch would get really overprotective & MIGHT break him in half if he found out.

Panel 5 of 9: The frame zooms in on Man-Witch’s face, focusing mainly on his narrowed eyes as he lets out a “Hmmmm”

Panel 6 of 9: The scene grows bright again as Man-Witch lets out a hearty laugh and says “Of course! And here I was thinkin’ that somethin’ /else/ might be goin’ on!”

Panel 7 of 9: Man-Witch raises the brim of his hat with an upward thumb, his face looking childishly curious as he asks “Is teachin’ dancing’ a think ya do often, son?” Panel 8 of 9: Galem is still visibly nervous as he replies “Err, YEAH! O-of course!” Man-Witch replies from off screen “Great!” Galem asks in response “…great?”

Panel 9 of 9 The scene is very familiar to that of panel 1. Same lighting, same music playing, except this time, Galem is dancing with Man-Witch, as he’s been roped into keeping the lie alive by teaching him. Vivian is smiling with he hands together as she watches in the background. Galem says “Okay, so far so good! Keep minding your footwork

#MagexWitch - Caught? (2/2)

Panel 1 of 9: Vivian’s cottage is lit in soft hues of dim purples and pinks as the two dance silently in the middle of the room, we only see the back of Vivian’s head, but Galem is staring lovingly into her eyes.

Panel 2 of 9 The two are interrupted as Man-Witch, head of the Treadstrong Coven, leans into the room through the door frame. He says “Howdy, Vivian! Hope ya don’t mind me bargin’ in! I was just wonderin’ if ya finished those potions for me.” Vivian and Galem are shocked and terrified, still holding hands.

Panel 3 of 9: Man-Witch sees the two of them holding hands closely, having been dancing just moments prior. He asks “What in tarnation is goin’ on here?” Vivian and Galem are both even more nervous. Text is also on the top of this panel to bring any new readers up to speed, explaining that Man-Witch doesn’t know the two are dating and that there will be consequences if he finds out.

Panel 4 of 9: Vivian and Galem are visibly nervous as they scramble together to make an excuse. Galem takes the lead stuttering: “Oh! Err, I-I was just, uh, teaching Vivian how to dance!” Vivian follows up saying “Y-yes! That’s right! I asked Galem to teach me! Can you believe o never learned?”

I said I wanted to do another big story arc this year, but I think things are too soon for the bigger stories that I want to tell with these characters.

I think I’ll spend 2026 doing more multipart jokes and mini arcs like I did with Soulmates Week instead.

It's funny that Minecraft always has to be on these lists even though I'm not as much of a fan of it in the modern day because playing it in high school was a canon event that alters my entire timeline if removed.

I miss old Deviantart so much!

Not only was it instrumental to my artistic growth, but I also met some of my closest friends through OCTs on there and my life would have been drastically different without it in the picture.

I feel sad that budding artists today don’t have the same kind of space.

Big day for me doing fanart of other comics, huh?

Panel 1: Gustopher from Gator Days stands in the middle of a room in Vivian's Cottage. He looks shocked and excited as he exclaims "Woah! A Witch's Cottage!? This is so cool!"

Panel 2: Gustopher looks at the potions and magic plants on Vivian's shelf, continuing his excited exclamations, and shouting "Magic Potions!!" Panel 3: He shouts again "Cute familiar!" as he looks at Gloop lying on the floor.

Panel 4: Gustopher's exclamation of "This is the best day ever!!!" comes in from off-panel, as the scene switches to Galem and Vivian observing the situation. Vivan says "Wow, that bootleg Gustopher came out great! It's just like the real thing!" Galem is flipping through a spellbook, perplexed as he replies: "Yeah, I wasn't expecting my first attempt at a simulacrum to go this well" he pauses and says "...wait a second..." Panel 4: Galem looks like a deer in headlights, staring off into the distance as he asks "...Vivian, what chapter did you turn this spellbook to?" Vivian replies: "Thirty! Just like you asked! Why?" Galem replies: "THIRTEEN. I said chapter thirteen. Chapter Thirty is SUMMONING spells."

Both Galem and Vivian have panicked, sick expressions as Vivian asks "So we just kidnapped a child?" Galem responds "Yeah, we just kidnapped a child."

I've had an idea in my head for a fan comic of @swordscomic.bsky.social for a long while now, and figured that the comic's big 1000th episode would be the perfect excuse to finally make it.

The best part about the Kirby Air Riders OST coming to the Nintendo Music App is that it technically means that the original Kirby Air Ride OST also came to the app.

I appreciate that Eve’s foot is still hurt. I feel like most comic strips would have had it healed by now but the fact that it hasn’t feels so much more realistic and grounded for how long stuff like this can take.

Been working on some non Mage x Witch comic stuff recently. One thing is super self-indulgent FFXIV stuff and the other is fan art.

Glad I’ve been making the time for other things, but also I worked on them too much and now I gotta lock in extra hard to get Mage x Witch done by Monday lol
