Hey #portfolioday
Good timing! After 15 years at @ubisofthalifax.bsky.social I today opened myself up to new (mostly remote) work opportunities.

I just realized you donβt like any of these games Iβve mentioned. So for you, probably October/November (GTA6, Switch 2 release)
Feb = monster hunter wilds, like a dragon pirate one and AssassinCreed Shadows. MGS3 remake also rumored.
January 31st for Sean (citizen sleeper 2)
In February
I presumed M&L was a remake? So itβs a brand new game based on an old IP?
Not played the original. Was the section you speak of also in the original?
The only GOTY podcast I listen to. Only #TCGS has Indiana Jones vs Alarmo
I canβt believe you picked THAT game as GOTY. Seriously?
Might be missing the point here butβ¦compared to the mega drive version?
Iβve enjoyed these for such a long time, they have helped me get better at providing feedback for other artists as a lead. Like you say, Iβll often just listen in the background. Itβs such a rare and unique resource, thanks for sharing.
Did a little interview as part of #adobesubstance community digest page for November;

Daints!
I've worked out that over my 20yr career I'm at about 20 released games vs 30 cancelled games. It's actually the topic for episode 5 of my podcast (due 26th Nov) where I ramble about the negatives and positives of cancelations. ('game artist walkies' Spotify/Apple). Hi btw - good to see you here!
Itβs a tricky balance. Too early and it gets in the way of artistic exploration and freedom. Leaving things too late however is a snowball effect that affects momentum of visual progress whilst you find/fix issues. Itβs all about defining a review process that works for both artists and producers.
My little weird game art podcast has began. Type 'Game Artist Walkies' into Apple/Spotify. Also on Youtube; youtu.be/0D7iUY3rgYs?...
