We literally have an active transit trail that connects the entire community yet is connected to almost nothing (mind you the businesses on the trail are thriving!). “We can’t afford sidewalks or trail connectors because some of my colleagues think everyone should be on a bike” ugh that’s not it

Since you’ve made it that I can’t reply, you actually don’t know my assumptions or background to know why I might have a particular POV. And I agree there are lots of great Canadian story tellers with considering. We don’t know who was considered in CSA meetings and why they landed where they did.
It would have been more egregious to waste their time on a fake search, if they knew it really wasn’t the partnership they needed.
I mean, that might be why. We can give the staff credit for being professionals and knowing what they’re looking for I think.
That’s all fair. It’s a guess so we have someone that actually fits what they’re hoping to achieve within the ecosystem. My guess is other proposals were considered.
Truthfully we’re all making a lot of assumptions about what the partnership entails and what will come from it.
Honestly, I see it differently. MIB & WG have a global reach and I think our players deserve to have their stories shared globally by hosts who are very empathetic story tellers.
