Such a pleasure to watch Pasa Faho with an audience of African-Aussies + Q&A with the filmmakers. Beautiful script, performances (Okey Bakassi, Tyson Palmer and the rest of the mostly first-timer cast!), cinematography and editing. Iconic Aus film. On tour for the next month. 5/5 woven lace-ups 👞

Really loved Rental Family. Seems comedy at first but gets at real shit about life, family and love. A few plot holes but so much heart and a proper tearjerker. Akira Emoto and Shannon Mahina Gorman steal the show, Jónsi & Alex Somers score beautiful as always. 4/5 Brendan Fraser Sad Smiles 🥲
