I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?
Itβs just hard to think of anything else right now
One of our supporters shared this with usβpeople are getting creative tonight!
The Mexican food creator who praised Carrie Underwoodβs performance at the inauguration is telling of a lot.

This isn't to say it's the only reason people love t'l, but it is an aspect of Mexican society that is alluring for many outsiders.
The appreciation for Mexico among foreigners often reflects a deeper search for cultural identity in an increasingly globalized world. Mexico and other nations with rich cultural legacies offer a vibrant history and distinct traditions that some diverse societies like the USA yearn for.

Hereβs what I knowβ¦today I went to a library + taught some new folks about craftivism. We sat in community. We learned things about each other. We talked about things we care deeply about. We laughed. For 2 hours that is all that existed. Real human connection + joy. Focus on community.

We need more cookbook clubs! I'm finally planning one with friends after years of saying I would start having them. Cooking got us through the pandemic; now, let's cook with friends and family!
Same. Here I feel like there is some hope
Community organizations. We need more organizations on the ground creating space for us to come together, engage, and gain a sense of support and power to help others. Putnam was right, civic culture is critical and we need to get back to that. Social media isn't enough.
Horrible
This is an amazing piece
Hola, Los Angeles. Please share local civic organizations that bring you joy while creating a community.
