I think they should treat Olympics like jury duty. Instead of top athletes everyday folks just get a notice every so often that they're going to be on the skeleton team or the ski team competing in freestyle moguls. You get the notice a good two to three months beforehand so you can practice.

I think its more important than ever in such a world given that developers are the last line of defense to catch all the cases where generated code is wrong (or "correct" but in unmaintainable form). So they need to know the language but will also have less experience writing it.
