It's probably cuz they cant afford to support too many users. Like, they had to limit people from joining even with invites recently, clearly they are just lacking in that department sadly.

It's kinda sad that Threads has big corporate backing and way more users now because feature-wise BlueSky is way better.

It's insane how much functionality is missing from Threads right now, but that's where people are flocking to sadly.
