I agree I don't like githubs UI too (hence why sticking to gitlab). My perspective is moreso that I get really annoyed when my code is in one place, but everything related to it is in a completely different one. Like uhh .. Imagine using a Trello board when you can have the same thing in the issues?

also, if we speak programming, just use the issues system on github/gitlab. i only had to use gitlab recently, but I think it has quite a lot of useful stuff for organising/planning ?
