Bought a new phone.

Dunno I just keep tags as-is, rename files and folders to keep uniformity and just sort all albums by year, this is enough for me. If I really need, there's an interface in the VLC to sort by artist, genres, album name etc..

I'll check out Tidal once I run through my latest albums. My need is simple: fast access to new releases and a good discovery algorithm. Frankly, given the mixed complaints I've heard, I'm skeptical Tidal can deliver the features I need, but will give it a shot.

I cancelled the Apple Music, as the software experience on android is just painful.
And I don't want to pay Spotify as it is hurting the music industry.
For now i'm listening to only my offline library on VLC.
I decided to buy digital copies of albums, instead of paying for a subscription.

Was pumped for Apple Lossless! It's mostly great, but some albums, like Lola Young's "This Wasn't Meant For You Anyway," sound different from the CD master. Distorted sections are muffled and sound like 120kbps. This may be due to "Apple Digital Master." Just wish they'd use the original CD master.

Scored the Wharfedale Diamonds 9.1, and tested them side by side with my Polk Monitors 30.

Honestly, I don't care much about cables, if the cable is bad you would hear it easily, and if so I would buy a new cheap one and replace it.

So today I went to the apple store and... No, I can't login to their devices with my account. I've tried to login in the browser on Mac in case it would have a different interface, but no. And the only option they suggested to me is to buy an apple device, login, change settings and return it!

Yesterday a cat broke into our apartment as soon as I opened the doors, of course it was a neighbour's cat, but now I'm scrolling over cat adoption sites.

Decided to switch from Spotify to Apple Music with my wife's family plan. Couldn't join because of an old 2017 family sharing group I'm stuck in. Support's advice: go to an Apple Store, use their device, and delete it from there, since I don't own an Apple device.
