Micra is built in France alongside the R5 and receives a tier 2 grant of £1500. LEAF is built at Sunderland and gets the tier 1 grant of £3750.

I think the Micra is a tiny bit expensive, especially in higher trim levels and there doesn't appear to be much of a discount available on ordering, yet. Also, deliveries have slipped by a month, disappointingly.

I've not driven Micra yet, though I've seen it a number of times, but apart from more grown-up ride thanks to different tyres, I've no reason to think it's anything less

more space inside. It drives really well. I only had it on Nissan test track, so didn't try the full gamut of experience, but other than the road noise, which might be down to the test track's grippy surface, it was extremely impressive. To answer your question, I think the Micra takes care of

The answer is no, but I think that between them, Micra and LEAF do have the old market covered.
New LEAF is actually shorter (though a little taller) than the car it replaces, but interior packaging means there's a lot
