gathered up some ducks from a few years ago
A cartoon from the 1950’s that’s more relevant than ever 💔
#daredevil still having a sale to take care of some unexpected bills. Let me know. I had a lot of fun with this one.
Don’t give them an inch.
They won’t be happy until we’re all dependent on AI, and far dumber and unskilled as a result.
Needed some good music tonight and so of course I have to drop one of my favorites. Miss this kid.

When all this is over one day, I hope there’s a Trump Regime version of the Nazi hunters that just prosecutes everyone who profited from all this illegal shit we’ve witnessed in broad daylight for the last ten years. They’re leaving evidence everywhere. They’re bragging about it.
Nailed it.
That 23% sure is interesting... can we convince them to vote against their party?
Also, this is my way of politely saying "that is happening here too" haha.
It happens everywhere.
Right?! I remember that one.
Paul, it isn't bizarre, it is natural!
The bizarre part is that they(like much of the planet) were raised in cultures where they were told that is an unnatural thing to do. Many were taught that they should wake up the next day feeling guilt and shame and fearing hell. etc.
PS my expert opinion is that a significant portion of straight men and women are in fact lying.
Queer people know the above is true because THEY TELL US.
Hell, without being too explicit...THEY SHOW US.
I realize such topics can be taboo to talk about, but given the moment we are in politically I think it is necessary to discuss the psychology around homophobia and transphobia. and how we got where we are now.
Which, at the end of the day, is because straight men are afraid of not being straight.
In adult life since then I have only learned more and more about "straight" men and the mental gymnastics they frequently perform when it comes to their participating in homo-erotic activities.
For example, the number of straight men who have had threesomes with their best "straight" friends.
What that experience taught me was essentially that A)Straight men desire to police eachother's sexuality B)Straight men really like touching eachother platonically
C)Straight men are permitted to do whatever they want "As a joke" as long as they can justify it. Especially in policing other's sex.
Growing up gay in the early 2000s was so crazy because it went from everything bad being "Gay" to all of the straight dudes you knew in high school frequently touching one another extremely inappropriately while whispering "no homo" as some kind of test.
I wish people like Ben Appel all the healing they need, but at the same time we (the rest of the LGBTQ) deserve an equal amount of space to counter their narrative and bullshit talking points with our own experiences and facts.
The mainstream narrative has become so lopsided...intentionally.
Don't get me wrong, I am not removing blame from those who actively betray the larger community entirely, but I am pointing out a system that doesn't often get looked at. How the right wing grift traps people like this in a new cycle of isolation and self-loathing.
To take this a step further, I feel like conservative media does all it can to prey on this particular sort of individual, these self-made LGBTQ "outcasts" who typically have survived a lot of abuse/ developed complex ideologies to help them survive red areas. They make them more isolated.
Ben is still trapped in the homophobic/transphobic thinking he was raised with.. and for that I wish him therapy and healing but... We need to talk about how the Atlantic, NYT, and etc have consistently given a major platform to the most "pick-me" gays you could ever meet.
It's okay to be fem!
Not like your outlet has much credibility anymore but you could really try having some journalistic integrity and maybe offer the space to more voices than just the author of "CIS WHITE GAY"
Also, did it ever occur to you that maybe Ben has some internalized homophobia he still needs to unpack?
after absolutely eviscerating Kristi Noem and calling for her resignation, Tillis is applauded. He thens threatens to hold up nominees if she doesn't stop stonewalling him. My God.
A thorn in Trump's side his first term were senators at the end of their careers who couldn't be pressured -- McCain, Corker, even Flake.
I think we're about to see a new wave of those folks, and whatever the motive -- true repentance or shameless ass-covering -- they'll help erode his standing
Fan art drawing of Ororo Munroe. Aka Storm! One of the more stylish X-Men, both in and out of costume. This particular jacketed costume I drew here was designed by Russell Dauterman. He's pretty great at that sort of stuff!

The fact that modern Christians believe the books were actually written by apostles is maybe one of the funniest and saddest parts of our reality.
Notice how accountability is happening because popular Mangaka are leading the charge, speaking out publicly, pulling their work from the publisher, and demanding immediate change?
This is the proper response to a publisher enabling creeps.
*Warning, pretty dark stuff mentioned in article*
Dear straight people, please no more Gavin Newsom. We already have Trump and his gang of monsters to worry about. We don't need the grown up human version of Slappy the Doll gnashing his cannibal teeth at us and attacking LGBTQ people while he tries to be the next Joe Biden. Swipe left.
