I fully understand how difficult it is to remain focused on any one particular atrocity but this really ought to be a serious scandal and people need to pay heavy prices for this
🎲 What keeps us coming back to a game? (Hint: it’s not just fun.) In this episode of Experience Points, I break down what player engagement really means — and how it applies to learning, design, and more. 🎧 youtu.be/x_z9J6RO45s?... #gamedev #gamesforlearning #seriousgames
I honestly wasn't super interested in this Silent Hill but now I feel like I should give it a chance.
I have never really enjoyed extraction shooters. Division 2's Dark Zone got the closest but still meh.
I have been playing #ArenaBreakoutInfinite and I think it makes the genre just the right amount of accessible while keeping the realism and looting deep enough for more hardcore players.
Pretty much. I forgot that Jimmy Kimmel was still on TV.
I really resent my tax dollars being spent on this
The more I watch Andor, the more I am impressed not just by the acting, writing and production design but how...humble it is.
It allows so many characters to play key roles. Diego Luna knocks it out of the park but the show doesn't feel carried by him. Its both about him and not about him.

An M.I.T. study found that 95% of companies that had invested in A.I. tools were seeing zero return. It jibes with the emerging idea that generative A.I., “in its current incarnation, simply isn’t all it’s been cracked up to be,” johncassidysays.bsky.social writes.
Too bad that our legal and institutional safeguards only work to prevent good policies. It would be cool if they also stopped the evil stuff

Putting the military on the street will lower crime. It does in North Korea, did in Nazi Germany, and in the book 1984.
The question isn’t will it lower crime. The question is do we want to be a nation governed like this. Until 6 minutes ago the GOP believed in LOCAL control.

Hey, as a librarian I need to tell you:
Our funding depends on usage.
So go ahead and check out that book even if you don't think you'll finish it. No one will know. Check out that DVD even though you might not like it. Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.
I've said it often, but libraries are, without hyperbole, one of the greatest things humans have ever done. Like ever.
Finally, a united nation.
That is pretty interesting. I hadn't thought about the cooling problem being easier in space. Doesn't really answer why, for what purpose and why its not attached to a thing that needs power (at least based on the article).
Right. But they are usually attached to spacecraft with energy needs right? I think its more about "putting a reactor on the moon" that is a bit more confusing to me.
So…….the plan is for us to develop a nuclear reactor that operates in different conditions than earth and then put it, unattended on the moon to power…things and stuff, I guess?

Shocking if true.
