Sorry, bin noch nicht so erfahren im Umgang mit Bluesky: der erste Teil meiner Antwort ist offenbar untergegangen. Da habe ich den Anstieg auf absolute Zahlen (Annahme 80 Mio Einwohner) ungerechnet. Und das ergibt, dass sich die Zahl von Zuwandergewalttaten fast verdoppelt hat 16k zu 30k).

Solch unsauberer Umgang mit Zahlen durch Medien, die seriös recherchieren und berichten sollten, treibt viele zu den Schwurblern am rechten Schmuddelrand.

Die Statistik hat einen Haken: pro 100k Einwohner sind die Gewalttaten seit 2015 von rund 200 auf 250 gestiegen, absolut von 160k auf 200k (80m Einw.). Der Zuwandereranteil ist gestiegen von rund 10% auf 15%, absolut auf 30.000, hat sich also fast verdoppelt.

I would be wary of accusing a democratic party of greed across the board because it is against wealth-related taxes. Nota bene: I personally am not against such taxes if they are balanced and do not lead to the opposite of what is desired, namely further redistribution from the bottom to the top.
