A lot of AI is beginning to be priced by labor. GPUs are expensive, and full agentic systems (especially multimodal) for human level replacement is not explicitly cheaper yet than minimum wage in most states. But it is competive against fully loaded costs with fixed costs. Also fully elastic.
Thinking about lot about the intersection of economics and AI these days.
