I think people really underestimate just how many people are asexual, and maybe a lot of people don't realize they are. Through my experience ive learned that a very large part of my fanbase is asexual. In fact, respectfully, asexual people tend to be some of the biggest supporters of NSFW art.

Ace respondents were asked if they ever had thoughts of purposely hurting themselves without wanting to die. A third of ace respondents reported they did within the previous year (36.5%) while a fifth did over a year ago (21.0%). However, a third of aces reported not having thoughts to purposely harm themselves (36.6%). The remaining 5.9% of ace respondents were unsure if they had thoughts of purposely harming themselves or not.
When asked if they had ever actually purposely hurt themselves without wanting to die, almost half of ace respondents said βnoβ (49.5%). The percentage of those who said βyesβ within the past year (20.6%) and over a year ago (23.9%) were similar.
